South Molton U3A exhibited information about their organisation in the Museum in October 2009.
They promoted the North Devon Link of U3A’s as well as national statistics. One exhibition board was be devoted to the ‘heart’ of any U3A – their special interest groups; in South Molton there are over 21 self-regulating groups and interests include ambling, bird-watching, DVD, French, local history, poetry, scrabble and skittles.

AUGUST 2009
The South Molton Archive & Local History Society created an exhibition entitled "More South Molton 
History". It provdes a pictorial view of past events and buildings in the Town. There was also the opportunity to identify people in a series of photographs from past years, like the one shown.
The Exhibition also featured the the introduction of the NHS to South Molton in the 1950's, Old photographs of the George Hotel and a Slide show of street scenes from 1800's.

AUGUST 2008
An interesting and popular Exhibition on Local Farming in the period 1930-1960. It was the result of a joint project carried out during the past two years by South Molton & District Archive and Local History Society plus History Societies from
Brayford, Charles, Filleigh, George Nympton, Kings Nympton and Witheridge.
The project’s aim was illustrate the changes that took place in local farming during the 30 year period, which included World War II and the final transition from horse to mechanical power. The overall result was a valuable collection of memories, information and photographs, which drew in many visitors during August.
